This is our most popular service. Split-level lofts give you all the benefits of an over-door loft with more headroom and easier access. This loft design creates ~200 square feet of additional storage space (20'x10'). Thats like discovering two hidden bedrooms in your home solely dedicated to organization! The platform goes from wall to wall without any intermediate support*, with plenty of room to park and walk safely underneath. Whether its food storage, memorabilia, hoarded toilet paper, camping equipment, seasonal decorations, winter gear, tools, boxes of clothes, children's toys, or any of a million other things cluttering your garage, kitchen, closets, basement, bedroom or shed, our over-door lofts keep your items safe, secure, accessible and out of the way. We warranty our over-door lofts for 20 lbs./square foot. For a 20'x10' loft, that is 2 tons. (They are designed using 30 lbs/square foot calculations). This is plenty of capacity for most items, but if you plan on putting more than 2 baby humpback whales of stuff up there, let us know, we can design for that. This service pairs really well with stairs - and in many cases we are even able to connect these stairs right to your existing garage door landing, which is especially convenient. To qualify for this service you need: 1- Roughly 12+ feet of garage height *3-car garages are no problem, we simply add a support post to take the place of the opposite wall.
